See to Learn®

See to Learn®

Did you know that 80% of kids’ learning ability relies on vision? Unfortunately, 1 in 4 starting kindergartners has vision problems.

The See to Learn® program was developed by the Eye Care Council as a preventive program to help make sure every child’s early education is unaffected by vision problems.

Through the See to Learn® program, parents can schedule a FREE vision assessment for their 3-year-old child in a participating optometrist’s office.

The optometrists at Ideal EyeCare are Eye Care Council participants in the See to Learn® program.

The free vision assessment for your three-year-old is designed to detect vision conditions that require correction at an early age. Some serious conditions such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and strabismus (turned eye) require care before age five to avoid permanent loss of vision.
